Putney Society meeting: Non-conformist churches

Last October, The Putney Society we looked at the relatively straightforward history of the Church of England in Putney, but even here there was one church inherited from “dissenters” and another sold. This month it turns to the many other denominations who have flourished, shrunk, merged and moved around Putney.
The Community Church where we will meet is fortunately one of the survivors, and now “listed”, but our tale includes many sites now lost or repurposed.
