My Girl the River + Sadie Jemmett

Louisiana songwriter Kris Wilkinson Hughes brings her band My Girl The River back to the Half Moon on the Manifest Good Things tour, playing songs from the new album alongside the early singles Heavy and Without You. Hughes and her husband, bassist and co-writer Joe Hughes, lead a full band through an Americana and folk set that has drawn comparisons to Lucinda Williams, Eva Cassidy and Gillian Welch, moving between hushed acoustic moments and full sing-alongs.

Support comes from Sadie Jemmett, a songwriter whose 2026 has included the politically charged single Don’t Silence Me, written in support of a friend and fellow survivor of assault.
