Mysteries: Solo Presentation from Laura Parker

Laura Parker, 74, is a self-taught, London-based artist with a background in History of Art. Her work ranges from representational landscapes to expressive abstracts, and from intimate still lifes to dramatic underwater views. This solo exhibition at BobCat Gallery brings together a collection charting her twenty-five-year career, with recent multi-layered acrylic and mixed-media paintings exploring the flow and movement of water, and the tension between clarity and mystery.
