Putney Arts Theatre’s Main Stage presents Till the Stars Come Down, Beth Steel’s family drama about a wedding day in a former Nottinghamshire mining town that curdles from celebration into confrontation as old resentments surface. Directed by Frances Bodiam, the production follows the play’s National Theatre premiere and West End transfer, and its 2025 Standard Theatre Awards shortlisting for Best Play.
Sylvia’s wedding to Marek should be a happy day for the family, but as the drinks flow, long-buried secrets and resentments start to surface, tipping the day from celebration into confrontation.
