The Rollin’ Stoned bring their tribute to the early Rolling Stones to The Half Moon in Putney, focusing on the band’s 1964-1969 years with staples including Jumping Jack Flash, Paint It Black, Not Fade Away and Satisfaction.
The band leans into the era’s theatrics – vintage instruments and deliberately gaudy stagewear – while keeping the two-hour set close to the original recordings, drawing on deeper album tracks as well as the hits. The Times has called them “better than the real thing”, and they have previously played for members of the Stones’ own circle.
