Japonica Singers 2025 Concert: Songs of Nature

Japonica Singers look forward to holding an early evening concert “Songs of Nature” on 22 February 2025 at St Mary’s Church Putney.

The performance, directed by Mikiko Ridd, will include nature themed western and Japanese music such as When you wish upon a star by Leigh Harline and Ned Washington, Here comes the sun by George Harrison, Kōjō no Tsuki (The moon over the ruined castle) by Bansui Doi and Rentarō Taki, and traditional folk song Sakura (cherry blossom).

Tickets will be £10 per person and free for under 18 year olds, available from choir members and online at Eventbrite.

Refreshments will be available to purchase before and after the concert at the Putney Pantry.
