Friends of Putney Library AGM and Talk

The Friends of Putney Library invite the community to their Annual General Meeting on Thursday November 27th at Putney Library. Refreshments will be served from 5:30pm, with the formal meeting beginning at 6pm.
This AGM is open to all regular members of the Friends of Putney Library as well as prospective new members interested in learning more about the organization and how to get involved. The Friends play a vital role in supporting Putney Library through fundraising, volunteering, and organizing community events throughout the year.
The meeting will cover the organization’s activities over the past year, financial reports, election of committee members, and plans for future initiatives. It’s an excellent opportunity to hear about the impact of the Friends’ work and contribute ideas for upcoming projects and events.
Whether you’re a long-time supporter or someone curious about joining this active community group, you’ll be warmly welcomed. The informal refreshment period before the meeting provides a perfect chance to meet current members, ask questions, and learn more about volunteer opportunities.
The Friends of Putney Library organize numerous popular events including the Film Club, Game Cafés, and cultural programs that enrich the library’s offerings. By becoming a member, you help ensure the library remains a vibrant community hub in Putney.
