Bring and Buy Plant Sale, Seed Exchange and Cake Sale — St Margaret’s Putney
Come along to a wonderful community Bring and Buy Plant Sale, Seed Exchange and Cake Sale in support of Christian Aid Week 2026, raising funds to help end food poverty around the world.
Organised by St Margaret’s, Putney, this outdoor community event invites local gardeners, plant enthusiasts and cake lovers to gather at 17 Rodway Road in Roehampton, SW15 for a morning of swapping, browsing and baking in aid of a great cause.
What to expect:
- Bring and Buy Plant Sale — bring along spare plants from your own garden to sell, and browse the contributions of your neighbours. Whether you have surplus seedlings, established perennials or unusual varieties to share, there will be plenty to discover.
- Seed Exchange — the Drop. Swap. Grow. seed swap gives you the chance to exchange seeds with fellow gardeners, expanding your growing collection and reducing waste.
- Cake Sale — enjoy homemade cakes and treats alongside a cup of tea or coffee, with all proceeds going to Christian Aid.
Christian Aid Week is one of the UK’s biggest charity fundraising events, supporting communities around the world facing poverty, injustice and the impacts of climate change. Your donations — whether through attending the plant sale or via the QR code on the poster — make a direct and lasting difference.
