Black History Month Morning Service

Join St Mary’s Church Putney for a special Black History Month service at 10am. Rev’d Sharon Hunt, believed to be the first black member of St Mary’s clergy team, will be preaching. Historian Yvette Reinfor will speak about her research into ‘Black Presence in Putney Past.’ This service affirms and celebrates an important part of our local history. An exhibition on this topic will be on display at the church from October 24-29. All are warmly welcomed to attend this meaningful community service.
