Talk: The Short Life of Battersea’s own Crystal Palace

Battersea’s crystal palace began life in Dublin, and investors brought it to Battersea where it failed within a year. It was taken over by music hall and freak show impresario Billy Holland, and almost saved by Battersea MP John Burns.
