Nicholas Pullen is a graduate of Somerville College at Oxford University, where he received his BA in history, and holds an MA in history from McGill University. His short fiction has appeared in the Toronto Star, the Copperfield Review, and Anti-Heroin Chic. By day he works for the Government of Canada, and by night he pens eldritch tales. He knows the names, locations, depths, and stories of every shipwreck in Georgian Bay, and most of the rest of the Great Lakes for that matter. He lives in the Yukon with his husband and their dog. The Black Hunger is his first novel.

M. R. Carey has been making up stories for most of his life. His novel The Girl With All the Gifts has sold over a million copies and became a major motion picture, based on his own BAFTA Award-nominated screenplay. Under the name Mike Carey he has written for both DC and Marvel, including critically acclaimed runs on Lucifer, Hellblazer and X-Men. His creator-owned books regularly appear in the New York Times bestseller list. He also has several previous novels including the Felix Castor series (written as Mike Carey), two radio plays and a number of TV and movie screenplays to his credit.

Nadia El-Fassi is a half-Moroccan, half-Australian author of spicy romance and fantasy. She has an addiction to iced coffee, period dramas, buying D&D dice and watching horror movies. They live in London with their husband and perfectly round cat. Best Hex Ever is her debut novel.

V. Castro is a two time Bram Stoker award-nominated author ofImmortal Pleasures,Alien: Vasquez,The Haunting of Alejandra,and more. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, to Mexican American parents. She’s been writing horror stories since she was a child, always fascinated by Mexican folklore and the urban legends of Texas. Castro now lives in the United Kingdom with her family, writing and traveling with her children.
