Bridge Social and Tea at the Platt

Join us for an afternoon of bridge at The Platt in Putney — a fundraiser supporting the new RISE Centre SW15, an ambitious £3 million project that will transform care for older people in our community.

The new RISE Centre, to be built on three floors above the current Platt building on Felsham Road, will provide a modern day and residential reablement unit for medically fit older patients who are not yet ready to return home after discharge from London hospitals. The centre will offer 12 ensuite bedrooms, nutritious home-cooked meals, social connection, a support worker and access to local services — helping to reduce NHS bed-blocking, cut the cost of failed discharges, and enable older people to return home safely with a proper care package.

Regenerate-RISE (Registered Charity No. 1118543) has been supporting isolated and elderly residents in SW15 for many years. This bridge event is one of the fundraising efforts helping to make the new centre a reality.

Doors open at 2pm for a 2.30pm start, with play finishing at 5.30pm. Tea, coffee and cakes are included. Book a table for 4 players at £80 per table — a great way to enjoy an afternoon of cards while making a real difference locally.
