Film Club

Join fellow film enthusiasts at Putney Library’s Film Club on Monday November 10th at 5:30pm in the Library Hall. This regular monthly gathering brings the community together to enjoy carefully selected films in a comfortable, shared viewing environment.
The Film Club is brought to you by the Friends of Putney Library, who curate a diverse program of films throughout the year. Each screening is free to attend and provides a wonderful opportunity to discover new cinema, revisit classics, and connect with other film lovers in the Putney area.
Films are typically chosen to appeal to a broad audience and may include contemporary releases, classic cinema, documentaries, and international films. The Library Hall provides a cozy viewing space with good visibility and sound for an enjoyable cinema experience.
No advance booking is required – simply arrive at 5:30pm for the screening. Seating is first-come, first-served, so arriving a few minutes early is recommended for popular screenings.
For details about this month’s film selection, please speak with library staff in person or email Putney.Library@GLL.org. Staff can also provide information about upcoming Film Club dates and how to get involved with the Friends of Putney Library.
This event is part of the library’s broader cultural program, making arts and entertainment accessible to the entire Putney community. All ages welcome unless the film has specific age ratings.
