UPLIFT Festival: Make a Scene – celebrating the joy of being uniquely you!
Part of the UPLIFT Festival – a new youth theatre and performance festival for young people aged 14-19.
You are cordially invited to Make a Scene – an unforgettable night of creativity, self-expression, and celebration at Putney Arts Theatre… with a twist!
Step into a space where you can be whoever you want to be. Dress up, let loose, and celebrate your uniqueness in a party like no other. Expect costumes, music, and a full-blown extravaganza!
Creative Workshops (6:30pm – 8:00pm):
Take part in specially curated workshops designed to bring you joy:
- Drag Makeup Workshop – Learn transformative makeup techniques and express yourself boldly
- Diva Workshop – Channel your inner star and discover your stage presence
- UPLIFT Song Creation – Collaborate to create and perform original songs celebrating uniqueness
Celebration Party (8:00pm – 9:30pm):
Catwalk, Song Sharing Party with Live DJ – Show off your creations, share the songs you’ve made, strut the catwalk, and dance the night away in a safe, supportive, and fabulous environment!
Come as you are. Leave as whoever you want to be.
Ticket Options: Get a ticket for the full evening (workshops + party), or just come along at 8pm for the celebration!
