Liberal Democrat general election launch – with Nick Clegg

The Liberal Democrats are launching their general election campaign with an event in Putney, and have invited the party’s former leader and Putney resident, Nick Clegg as a special guest.

Putney Lib Dem candidate Kieren McCarthy will give a brief talk followed by a conversation with the former Deputy Prime Minister. Expect lots of election talk and general Lib Demery.

Entry is free with a request for donations to the election campaign fund.

According to the organisers: “Putney residents and those who are interested to hear about the Lib Dems and their campaign are invited, but members of other political parties are asked not to turn up as they will not be granted entry.”
