St Margaret’s Church to hold Art in Bloom, an exciting art exhibition celebrating Putney’s creativity.

St Margaret’s Church is proud to announce the launch of Art in Bloom, a unique art exhibition marking the arrival of spring by celebrating Putney’s many professional and amateur creators. Art in Bloom officially opens its doors on April 11th at 5:00 PM with a reception to which all are welcome.

Art in Bloom features the work of renowned local professionals, including the expressive steel and clay sculptures of Gil Whyman and the acclaimed paintings of Ann Hawksley, Charles Penny and Sally Scott. Gil will be doing a live demonstration of clay sculpting.

In a vibrant display of local spirit, these professional pieces will sit alongside a diverse collection of artworks contributed by the Putney and St Margaret’s community, ranging from paintings to mixed media.and craft of all kinds.

This exhibition is a testament to the creative heartbeat of Putney. By placing the work of established professionals alongside the hidden talents of St Margaret’s own congregation and neighbours, the church is creating a living gallery for everyone.

Opening reception April 11th, 5:00 PM, show runs to 9:00 PM
