Where to find warm spaces in Putney, Roehampton and Southfields this winter

Twenty community spaces across SW15 opened this month, offering free hot drinks, meals, activities and support as temperatures drop.

The spaces range from council libraries with free Wi-Fi and charging to community-run venues offering hot meals, job clubs, and housing advice. All are free or low-cost, and aren’t just about staying warm – they’re about staying connected. Whether you need support or just want company over a cup of tea, all venues welcome drop-ins.

Sandra, a Battersea resident who used community spaces last winter, said: “It’s a reason to come out of the house even when things are hard. The staff are really kind and understanding.”
