DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the closing of November’s art exhibition at Putney Library Gallery with a special evening reception on November 27th. Throughout November\, the gallery has displayed beautiful Gouache paintings created by students from Putney School of Art and Design’s Gouache Class\, led and curated by artist Sarah Sparkes. \nThis closing celebration offers a final opportunity to view the exhibition while meeting the artists\, instructor Sarah Sparkes\, and fellow art enthusiasts from the Putney community. It’s a chance to appreciate the vibrant colors and techniques characteristic of Gouache painting – an opaque watercolor medium that has been used by artists for centuries. \nThe exhibition showcases the diverse talents of local art students and demonstrates the high quality of teaching at Putney School of Art and Design. From landscapes to abstracts\, portraits to still lifes\, the works on display represent a range of styles and subjects\, all united by the distinctive properties of the Gouache medium. \nLight refreshments will be served during this informal gallery reception.
