The novel is told through Charlie’s journal entries\, giving readers an intimate and heartbreaking window into his transformation. It explores profound questions about identity\, humanity\, and what it truly means to be intelligent. \nThe Sci-Fi and Fantasy Book Club at Waterstones Putney meets regularly to explore the best in speculative fiction – from classic science fiction to contemporary fantasy. Sessions run from 6–7pm and are completely free to attend.
