Bear Hunt & Teddy Bear Picnic at Little Forest Folk Putney Heath

Little Forest Folk Putney Heath is a fully outdoor, Ofsted rated outstanding nursery, based on Putney Heath Common. We are excited to invite families along to an interactive journey across the Common, re-telling one of our favourite stories – We’re Going on a Bear Hunt! Not only is this a great opportunity to see our fantastic nursery camp in action, there will also be time at the end to join us for a Teddy Bear Picnic with your favourite teddy, around our friendly camp circle.

The meet point is on the Cricket Grounds, at the junction of Telegraph Road & Wildcroft Road – look out for our wonderful team & their teddy bear helpers! The adventure into the forest starts promptly at 11am, so please arrive in plenty of time!

We will provide everything you need for the Bear Hunt, but please bring a blanket, your favourite teddy & your own picnic to enjoy at the end. Please note that we are a nut free setting, so please do not bring anything containing nuts. Our time in the forest will end at 1pm, where families will be welcome to continue their own adventures with their new friends, away from camp.

This family friendly event is open to everyone, with a focus on little ones who may be looking to join us in the forest now, or in the future! Families and older siblings are welcome to come along too. Our nurseries are open to little ones aged 2 – 5, with holiday camps running for ages 3-7. We have some limited remaining availability to join us in 2024, and our 2025 & 2026 waiting lists are open for new registrations now!
